FAQs
What Can Nutritional Therapy Help with?
Some conditions that we would commonly look at are: Weight Management, Hormone Imbalances, Fertility, Skin Conditions, Blood Sugar Management, Sleep problems, Fatigue, and Stress Related Issues.

If I have not listed your current symptoms above then please do contact me to discuss; in truth most people would benefit from Nutritional Therapy whether they are experiencing chronic symptoms or just looking to tweak their current plan to ensure disease prevention and longevity for the future.
I offer a free 15 minute discovery call where we can discuss your goals in depth before embarked on a treatment plan.
Do I have to give up foods I love and follow a restrictive diet?
My goal is to work with you to implement a sustainable and long term plan which will fit around your lifestyle. I don't want you leaving a session with me feeling restricted and miserable as this is never sustainable.

I believe it is vitally important to enjoy a vibrant and varied diet which is as enjoyable as it is healthful. I will work closely with you to help you understand how to make better food choices without feeling deprived, help you to recognise hidden nasties in foods which are best to avoid and why. I will aim to provide you with alternatives where possible as well as recipes and cooking/food prep demonstrations to assist you on this journey.

I recognise that long term change happens in small stages and it is my goal to support you every step of the way.
What will individual sessions involve?
The initial consultation generally takes around 90 minutes and involves taking a detailed case history including family history, health history, current diet, any medications or supplements that you are currently taking.
We will then decide on some positive health goals to work towards.
Following an initial consultation I will spend some time working on a detailed interpretation of how your current health picture has developed and what positive steps we can take to turn your health journey in the right direction. This involves usually half a day or more of time and research.

Follow up sessions are usually around 60 minutes and are based around the Naturopathic Cellular model of Health. A bespoke systematic treatment plan will be agreed upon and implemented step-by-step over a number of sessions depending on severity of symptoms, and progress will be reviewed and evaluated at each following session.
How many sessions will I need?
The length of time it takes to see results varies from person to person and depending on what you are looking to achieve.
It can take years for a chronic condition to develop so can require more time to resolve, whereas acute symptoms may be quicker to rectify.
I find the best long lasting results will happen over 10-12 fortnightly sessions, over a period of 6-12 months, however you may well also benefit from 2-3 sessions.
Where are you based?
I am currently based in the New Forest on the Dorset, Hampshire border but I only practice remotely over the phone or Zoom; I find that this is much more time effective for both of us and enables me to offer to very best pricing.
I really want to work with a Nutritional Therapist but cost is an issue for me.
We can discuss this on our discovery call and design a plan to suit your needs. There is no point me suggesting to you that you need fortnightly sessions for 6-12 months if that simply isn't within your budget right now. I can offer a three session plan including a full initial consultation and if you wanted to book in for further sessions later down the line then you can do this as and when suits you. I am also happy to offer a payment plan if it helps.
